SAS Water implemented a structured water hygiene programme designed to support Burton Albion’s ongoing compliance responsibilities across its stadium, hospitality facilities, washrooms, and shower areas.
The programme includes quarterly routines, such as shower head cleaning and disinfection, alongside other scheduled hygiene tasks to help maintain water quality throughout the site. Six-monthly inspections are carried out to assess the condition of water storage systems and identify any potential issues before they develop into compliance concerns.
In addition, annual water hygiene routines are delivered, including a complete review of the water system, Legionella risk assessment audit, TMV servicing, water sampling, and tank inspections. Where required, SAS Water also provides recommendations and support to ensure the club’s water systems continue to operate safely and in line with current guidance.
